Hey I saw that you're watching my old account (toomuchcoke.deviantart.com) which got hacked a few weeks ago. So if you still like my work you can watch me here because this is where I'm gonna post my little masterpieces in the near future :)

EOS 20d and a few others, Pentax M50 I think? Older shots taken with a Kodak DX450 or something, can't really recall it. Also back in the days of '03 a Polaroid PDC2070. Why do you ask?

i want to buy one soon, but i was wondering what to get. I might just get an eos 450d. i want a polaroid that prints, but they dont make them, do you know where i could get one no?

sorry to butt in on your conversation :giggle: they stopped making Polaroid film some months ago, so there's only a limited amount left and I know lots of photographers boughts as much of the remaining stock as they could. So Polaroids are a bit of a dead technology, it's impossible to get film for mine now :(

SLRs are great and film teaches you to learn quickly (or spend loads on film) but if you ask me, digital is just as good - it's just people are tempted to be lazy and use Auto-mode the whole time.

A Polaroid that prints straight out of the camera, right? You can pick those up anywhere really. The Polaroid I had was a digital compact. I advise picking up a cheapish 2nd hand fully manual 35mm or 120 (medium format) film camera on eBay, you can likely find entire kits including kit bags that people are getting rid of as they have recently purchased a DSLR. Look for Pentax, Olympus then Nikon in my opinion. It's all a matter of personal preference, but a notable thing about Olympus manual film cameras is they are quite small in your hands. Depends on your hand size I guess. The reasoning behind getting a film camera first is that you will learn how to judge light, and overcome the partially blind automatic modes on DSLRs. When you take pictures, note down the shutter speed, aperture and exposure level, and possibly the zoom level or sky condition in a small pocketbook. Once developed, you will know what was right and what was wrong.

Goodnight man.

P.S. Use Ilford HP5 400ISO or XP2 400ISO for Enniskillen light.
